Campaigns & Information Initiatives Agency
Campaigns for topics that need to be understood first
We develop campaigns where knowledge, conviction, and participation come together. For future topics, transformation, science, energy, equality, and social change. It’s often about one question: how do we bring people into a topic so that they join the conversation, get involved, or start seeing it differently?
What good campaigns and initiatives need to deliver
Attention is just the beginning
Making a topic interesting
Many campaigns start with content that matters but doesn't pull people in yet. We look for the point where a topic sparks curiosity: a surprising perspective, a strong visual, or a good story.
Putting knowledge into motion
Information campaigns need more than just reach. People need to understand what it's about and why it affects them. That's why we work with infographics, storytelling, and visual explainer formats.
Making participation possible
Anyone who wants participation first needs to bring people into the topic. Good campaigns explain the bigger picture and create moments worth reacting to, sharing, or thinking further about.
Connecting multiple levels
Many campaigns work outward and inward at the same time. The public, employees, and stakeholders need different points of entry, but one shared through-line.
Trying new things
Future-facing topics often call for formats that haven't existed before. We test visuals, tone, and channels with a good sense for target audiences, friction points, and internal feasibility.

Information Initiatives
When a complex topic finally needs to become understandable
Sometimes experts know exactly what's at stake, but almost none of it reaches the outside world. Distribution grids are a good example: they're central to the energy transition, yet invisible to most people. For the BDEW, we worked on exactly this translation task: what do distribution grid operators actually do, and why does it concern all of us?
Future and Transformation Topics
Getting future topics out of the expert bubble
AI, the heating transition, mobility, or renewable energy can quickly become either too technical or too abstract. For REN21, we worked with AI as an image and campaign tool early on, just as the topic was gaining public momentum. What was interesting wasn't so much the technical effect, but the question: which images help us talk about the future of renewable energy differently?
Stance and Awareness Campaigns
Taking a stance in a polarized world
Some campaigns live on conviction. The Future's Feminist for the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung and the social media work for the Moleskine Foundation show exactly what that means: making social issues visible, staying politically clear, and still finding formats people actually want to engage with.

Internal and External Campaigns
Bringing public impact and internal relevance together
Many campaigns work on the public and inside the organization at the same time. Employees need to understand what the organization stands for, while external audiences need a clear way in. This double effect matters especially for energy, equality, digitalization, or sustainability. That's where our experience with internal communication, change, and participation comes in.
Science Outreach
Research needs contact with the world outside the project
Scientific content rarely reaches new audiences through results reports. It takes formats that make entry easier: illustrations, comics, infographics, social media series, exhibitions, or events. For the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, we develop branding, outreach, and spatial formats around transdisciplinary research work. This gives science places, images, and occasions where it becomes part of public life.

Our services in campaigns & information initiatives
From campaign idea to content system
We like working on campaigns where the content isn't packaged yet. Where it still needs to become clear what's actually interesting, which audiences should get involved, and which formats fit the topic. We help turn expert knowledge, stakeholder perspectives, and political expectations into a coherent campaign logic.

Content work for topics that need explaining
We're strongest exactly where classic campaign work tends to run thin: expert knowledge, future topics, participation, and social transformation. Our team sorts through content, finds good entry points, and develops campaign formats that can do more than just generate attention.
