Culture Change Consulting Berlin – Organizational Culture, Change & Innovation Culture
A new way of working together for organizations made of people, not machines
Ellery Studio, based in Berlin, supports companies, organizations, and research institutes through culture change. When collaboration, leadership, and the capacity to innovate need to shift, we develop dialogue formats, workshops, participation processes, internal communication, and materials that take root in teams’ everyday work.
What good culture change consulting has to deliver
Culture changes where people work together
Take history seriously
Organizational culture always has a past. Anyone who wants change has to understand what people are proud of, where the divides are, and which experiences still linger.
Observe everyday work
Culture shows in meetings, decisions, the grapevine, and collaboration. Good culture work looks at where people actually act, not only at mission statements and target systems.
Make encounters possible
Many organizations don't suffer from a lack of values but from too little contact between departments. Exchange formats, shared working situations, and good occasions help loosen old patterns.
Involve leadership
Leadership shapes culture through everyday behavior. We help leaders explain change, listen, and model new ways of working in their own area.
Develop new routines
Culture change stays abstract as long as it has no shape in everyday work. Workshops, toolkits, conversation formats, and small experiments help teams try out new ways of working together.
Fields of application for culture change, organizational culture, and innovation culture
Where Ellery Studio supports organizations through cultural change
Organizational culture and collaboration
Getting departments talking to each other again
At a municipal utility, we supported a transformation process over several years that was largely about internal divides, a sense of community, and new points of contact between departments. Processes like this don't need a culture program from the outside. They need good situations in which people meet each other differently: workshops, internal formats, visual communication, and occasions that don't feel like mandatory events.

Transformation and identity
Appreciating the past, looking ahead
Culture change works better when past achievements aren't simply swept aside. Especially in companies with a long history, what people have built and what they care about matters. We develop formats that take this history on board while opening up new future visions. That could be an internal campaign, a leadership format, or a shared picture for the coming years.

Innovation culture
New ideas need different habits
Innovation culture doesn't come from a colorful creative space alone. Teams have to learn to test earlier, ask more openly, and tolerate unfinished ideas. For 50Hertz, we developed change stories that make innovation culture easier to grasp. The Maker Spirit workshop for Bayer was about exploring new technologies hands-on and getting leaders from different countries to work together.

Gender equality and inclusive culture
Culture change starts with the unspoken rules
With our EQT gender equality toolkit, we regularly work with companies, institutions, and conferences. The toolkit provides a quick way into questions of gender equality, inclusion, and organizational fairness. Workshops produce concrete observations, priorities, and first steps for equality work. In large formats, such as with Vattenfall, it becomes a shared learning space for many employees at once.

Ambassador programs and multipliers
Bringing change into the organization through people
Cultural change needs a bridge into the day-to-day reality of departments, not just central communication. Ambassador programs help carry new topics into teams. For Credit Suisse Digital Horizons, we supported an international ambassador program with workshops, intranet materials, comic strips, and videos. Programs like this give people language, material, and confidence for conversations in their own environment.

Knowledge exchange and learning culture
How people from different areas learn from each other
Organizations often have more knowledge than they use. The challenge is bringing together people who rarely work with each other. For Danone Nutrition in Paris, we designed an international conference for research teams. Development teams from different regions came together, exchanged experiences, and got to know design thinking methods for their innovation work.

Leadership culture and new ways of working
Making leadership visible in behavior
Leadership culture isn't shown by leadership principles alone. It shows in conversations, decisions, and conflicts. We develop workshops, toolkits, panorama illustrations, guiding questions, and communication materials that help leaders make new principles concrete. This is especially valuable when teams notice in everyday work what is supposed to feel different. That includes a feedback culture in which feedback is valued within the team.

Internal communication for culture change
Telling stories in which people recognize themselves
Culture topics quickly turn into empty phrases when they come off the shelf. We develop change stories, internal series, infographics, comics, explainer videos, and event formats that stay closer to everyday work. Good internal communication doesn't just state values. It shows situations in which people realize: this is about us.
